Connect your domain at Wix
Add two records at Wix so your site works whether visitors type
yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.com. It takes a couple of minutes.
Record 1: your root domain
Record type: A
Name / Host: @ (means your root domain)
Value / Points to: 138.197.57.119
Record 2: www
Record type: CNAME
Name / Host: www
Value / Points to: bizporch.com
This works only if your domain is connected to Wix with Wix nameservers (the default for domains bought at Wix). If it is connected by “pointing,” edit DNS at your original host instead.
Step 1: add the A record (your root domain)
- Log in to Wix and go to Domains.
- Click the Domain Actions icon next to your domain, then Manage DNS Records.
- In the A (Host) section, click + Add Record.
- Leave Host Name blank for the root domain. In Value, enter
138.197.57.119. - Click Save, then Save Changes in the pop-up to confirm.
Step 2: add the www record
Add this so www.yourdomain.com reaches your site too (we redirect it to your main address automatically):
In the CNAME (Aliases) section → + Add Record → Got it → Host Name www → Value bizporch.com → Save → Save Changes.

Good to know
- For the root domain, leave Host Name blank (Wix treats blank as
@). - You must click Save Changes in the confirmation pop-up or it will not apply.
- Changes can take up to 48 hours.
Last step: once you’ve added the record, open your BizPorch dashboard, go to
Custom Domain, and enter your domain. We check your DNS automatically and turn on
a free security certificate as soon as it points here. DNS changes can take a few minutes to a few hours.
